my first initiative

WTH!!!
anyway, i have been having fun for the past few weekends.
last weekend, i was out having gathering dinner at Moshi-Moshi, a Japanese restaurant in my side of town.
the price is decent but everyone (there were about 12 of us) ordered the set dinner, which was good anyway, it comes with appetisers, the main course and ice cream dessert. drinks were green tea. a must quencher at Japanese restaurants. It's good for your health anyway. XD

the whole point of the gathering was to say farewell for Brendan for he will be away from Klang to 5 MONTHS only. LOL. personally i won't get to see him until CNY 2012.

before the dinner i was watching movie with Bren, Shirlyn, CJ, Yie Vin and TY at MBO. X-Men first class to me was ok. I was rather disappointed with MBO's sound system. I don't think I will go there again. the seats are not really comfortable. the angle of the screen is wrong. and it's SO COLD!!! then again, movie tickets these days are not cheap anymore. hence, MBO became an alternative to TGV.

after dinner, we went to Esso mamak in teluk pulai. second time that i've been there since introduced by Iona. I kinda like the place. it may be crowded but you don't feel it as it's quite spacious. i'm so going to order ottu prata the next time i go there. i missed ordering it when i was there. too full from the japanese dinner with lots of green tea.

yesterday night i had a form 6 gathering dinner at angsa emas. it was probably the cheapest dinner i had so far. it costs me only rm7 for food and drinks. anyway, we didn't order expensive stuff. most importantly it was delicious and satisfying! the reason for this gathering was to meet up with Man Ye. She was the last one in all of us to return for Uni late. nice to see her again and having her travel so far from jenjarom. jo ann was there to sell her lunch project at her uni on the 14th. after dinner we head off to Shin yi's house. she invited us over to play mahjong. i don't play mahjong, don't know much of it really. we chatted until it was 11.30 and time to go off as our cars were blocking the owner's gate. it was late too.

today was another eventful day. i had my first karaoke session this year and i can't remember the last session that i had. there were only me, ken, bren and shirlyn. we went to greenbox at 11am. it was a 3 hours package and what a 3 hours. for once we manage not to sing bee gees today for some reason. we sing adele, lots of air supply, bon jovi and celion dion. seriously i can't wait for our next session which will probably be next year. initially this k session was suppose to be last week but due to a lot of problems we postponed it this weekend. i had to make early bookings on the phone so that we don't miss out again! the food was so-so. in fact better than what i had last time. after singing our hearts out, we went window shopping primarily us girls did most of the window shopping. XDXDXD i introduced Shirlyn to Cotton On. there were a rack of items for rm30 and below >.< i didn't anything that i really like though. i was very interested in this part of heels which i thought i must have but it's not a sale item. hopefully i get to catch it on sale in Penang. we went from shop to shop. MNG was on sale too. i guess the whole mall was on sale. i was also looking around for shoes. then we step into Nichii and so me and Shirlyn went on a trying out spree. each of us picked two items. i got a dress and a sleeveless top. the. dress was really weird. everything was wrong the cutting the design. @@ and it makes me look fat anyway. >.< but the top was something. it has 50% discount tag on it and i was all for it coz it cost me under rm20. XDXDXD yes, so i bought it. i plan to get a jacket. a black one. i thought i  spot one in jusco. will take a look at it when i go there next week with Melissa.

i feel like going on a shopping spree because i think i deserve some new clothes for the coming semester. i don't want to wear the same stuff for the next academic year. i even got one blouse stolen last semester. i'm still upset about it. but if i can slowly collect clothes which look good and cost is cheap, i think less heartache but a little heartache because i bought with my money. so everything even in shopping has a 50-50 chance. sigh...
