I have a few things to blog about. Hope I can remember it all. >.<
Two nights ago, I went for a church concert organized by Grace Assembly, called El Elyon: Love.
Basically it's all about God = Love. All the songs performed have the same message about it.
I think it's a nice thing to say that God is all about love.
At one point of the concert, I was moved and touched. Still deep down inside. I don't have enough confidence yet.
Going to church events, it's sort of like meeting the whole town. I met up with some of my juniors, some friend's siblings, some people that I haven't met in a long time. Most of all, I found Lavaniah there too. She of all people, was the least expected to be seen there. She's studying nursing and working at the same time. Such a coincidence that is one in a million. She said she wanted to visit each and every one of our classmates and send her sister's wedding dinner invitation. I told her the sad news that I can't make it as I will be in Penang then. Anyway, it was great seeing her as we have not seen each other at gatherings eversince we graduated form 6.
After leaving church, I had a mamak session with Iona, Daryl, Darren and his group of kiddies, Aisha and Bawanie.
We went to Palm Grove mamak. It was already past 11.30pm. It has been a long time since I've been to this mamak. I think it's one of the run down ones in whole of Klang. Only footie fans around the area go there I think. I didn't stick around long and went home at 12.30am.
I think out of guilt and resolve. I decided to remove two game applications from my facebook yesterday: Monopoly Millionaire and Salon Street. MM is not a very progressive game after playing it for nearly a month. I also realized that I want to be a real millionaire rather than being a virtual one. As for SS, it's also a non-progressive game and not many of my friends are in it. So I decided to just remove it. So, I'm now left with Restaurant City, Diner Dash and Simply Hospital. I'm giving SH another a few more weeks as I just started not too long ago. Then again, I'm very slow at it 'cause none of my friends are playing it and it takes ages to accumulate virtual game money. Sigh...
By being less occupied with virtual games, I decided to finally concentrate on my assignment which I should have started long ago. I'm starting with ragtime music now. I'm printed Scott Joplin's Bethena and Magnetic Rag. I hope to master it asap. Listening to ragtime is also part of the learning process. Ragtime music is really nice. It's sounds cheery and I think it's a very good pick-me-up when you're down.
